Subject: Decorations.
1. The Commandor-in-hief, in the nome of the President,
has awarded the Distinguished Service Cross to the following
officer, for the act of extraordinoyy heroism described after
his name:
First Lieut. Orrlisle R. Wilson (Deceased)
189th Infentry
For extraordinury horoism in action neer
Montblainville, Frence, 27 Septomber, 1918.
In order to establish and maintein lisison
with the adjacent division, Lioutemant Wilson
although wounded, led his mon clong the velley
of the Aire rivor. and ceross a bridge through
the heaviest kind of and machine gun
fire. He died soon eftor this exploit from the
wounds received.
Next of Kin: Judge J. C. Wilson (Fother)
Bethany, Missouri.
2. The Adjutent Ceneral of the Army has been requested
to make presentation to the nexit of kin of the decensed officer.
