Subject: Death of Private, First Class, Harry Dabner. 1. In reply to your letter of May 12 inquiring for details concerning the death of Private, First Class, Harry Dabner, it is stated that he died on April 28, 1919, of pneumonia. 2. He was visited frequently by the priest, Father Davern, who gave him the last rites of the Church; also by Miss Sarah Myers, Red Cross Worker on duty at this hospital. The Chief Nurse reports that he was quite cheerful and that she believes he dictated a letter home through the Priest. 3. The nurse in charge of the ward at that time was Miss Vera Aldrich, whose home address is La Grange, Indiana. 4.
