Field order No. 2. Headquarters,129th,F.A. Lambert Map - Munster. 28 August 1918. 1/20,000 1. Special destructive fire will take place on J day at H hour with gas shells. Fire to be delivered on enemies positions. 2. A. Batteries A,C,D, and E of this Regiment are designated to fire. B. Enemy Batteries located at 50-12;50-26;48-28;44-28 are to be fired upon so as to gas the region of each. C. Batteries A,C, and D will occupy advance positions for this mission. The B.C's of A,C, and D will reconnoiter these temporary posi- tions. The batteries of the lst Bn keeping North of X 131 and Battery D keeping South of X 131. 3. A. 500 rounds of bas shells per battery will be fired, .0'S will ascertain the amount of gas shells on hand and draw necessary amount required to bring their supply up to 500 rounds. B. The method of fire; successive concentrations of 3 minutes each on the regions adjoining the objectives, soordinates as stated above. Firing by all batteries, see chart Atattädied. (Annex #1) 4. At H plus 57 cease firing, batteries will return to their pos- itions in gun emplacements. Battery A will select a position in the vicinity of their fulute position. 5.
