Commanders of organizations to which bands are assigned will require band leaders to make the following report, without delay, to G-1 Amusement Section. (a) Roster of band to include name and rank of players, and instrument. (b) Complete list of music in band library. (c) Names of men who play orchestral ins truments and name of instrument. (d) Names of men, beginners or trained players, who are without instruments both for band and orchestra. ( e) Talent for entertaining in band. Hereafter a weekly report wi 11 be made this office to arrive not later than Nednesday of week following, showing the work done by the band in the entertainment line, to include: (a) Number of band concerts and where each was played. (b) Number of orchestral performances and where played. (c) Number of appearances of entertainers or entertainment groups connected with band and where appearing. (d) Any other entertainment provided by members of bands. ( e ) Daily average program of band. (Ad.Bul. 29, Ho. 2nd. Armv, 2-1-19) II . e CONTROL OF ACTION OF INFERIOR COURIS The attention of Commanding Officers is directed to the fact that they have no power to control the action of inferior courts, by ordering what their findings shall be, or the punishment to be inflicted. Their powers aside from the powers to remit or to mitigate or to disapprove, or approve, are limited to the return of the record to the court for a. reconsideration of its findings or sentence, or both. III. ENTERTAINMENT On account of illness "Musical Maids" engagement at Commercy, February 4th and 5th will be cancelled. 110th Ammunition Train Show is substituted.
