I, REPCR T FROM UNIT BAGGAGE OFFICERS
Regimental and separate Unit Baggage Officers will report
at once in writing to the Division Baggage Officer, these Head-
quarters, their progress in marking Baggage and record boxes.
II.
SOAKING OF FROST-BITTEN POTATOES
All potatoes now available for issue have been fwost-bitten
more or less, The Quartermaster states that a great saving can be
effected by soaking these potatoes in water prior to peeling or
cooking.
III.
LIST OF NAMES OF GAS OFFICERS
Regimental and Separate Unit Commanders will forward immed-
iately to Division Gas Oulicer, list of names of Regimental and
Battalion Gas Officers and Gas Non-commissioned 0 Licers as of
February 21st, 1919.
IV. LEAVES OF ABSENCE
The various commanders authorized to grant leaves of absence
are permitted to grant the authorized leaves from the p resent up to
include Wednesday, March 5th. This means that all officers of
soldiers taking advantage of leaves must be back for duty. with their
organizations by midnight, March 5th.
V.
BASKET BALI GAME
The Division Basket Ball Team journeyed to Vavincourt where
they defeated the 24th Aoro Squadron by the score of 31 to 14. The
first half ended 8 to 8. They have also played several practice
games with company and regimental teams within the Division, winning
them by large scores. The lineup of the 35th Division team at
Vavincourt was as follows:
Forwards:
Davisson, Do'ming and McCallum.
Center:
Uhrlaub
Guards:
Bowman, Runyan and Chase.
