1. All certificates of inspection of property turned in, in
accordance with paragraph 6, General Orders No. 16, these Head-
quarters, will be immed iately forward.ed to the Assistant Chief
of Staff, G-1, 35th Division, for transmission to G-4, Second
Army.
2. Special .attention of all commanding officers is invited to
paragraph 1, General Orders No. 28, C.S., G.H.O., in regard to
prompt discharge of 011 financial obligations.
3. Though gas maks and steel helmets are to become the
property of the personnel of the Division on being mustered out,
they are Government property until that time, and in case of loss
must be charged for on the payroll. Price $4.44 for gas masks,
4. Absolutely no motor transportation of this Division will
be used for anything except official business, except on written
order of Assistant Chief of Staff, G-1, OT higher authority.
5; In compliance with Second Army orders, each organization
will, at once place a sign at egch main entrance to the village
occupied by it, five feet long and one foot wide, bearing the
name of the village in black on a yellow background. A similar
sign bearing the name of the organization Will be attached and
taken with the organization when it moves to the new area. The
necessary lumber and paint can be obtained, on application, from
the Division Quartermaster,
MONTHLY RETURN OF ORDNANCE HERSONNEL.
6. The monthly return of Ordnance personnel required under
paragraph 15122, Sub paragraph 6, Army Regulations and referred
to in Paragraph V. Bulletin No. 43, Headquarters 35th Division,
18th February, 1919, must be submitted promptly on the last day
of the month to the Division Ordnance Officer, 35th Division.
This return will be submitted in Quadruplicate instead of in
duplicate as stated in Bulletin 43.
PISTOL LANYARDS
7. Unit Supply Officers are directed to curn in to the Div-
ision Ordnance Officer, 35th Division, all pistol lanyards in
excess of those required for pistols held in the orgabizations.
Certificates will be prepared in this case in accordance with
General Orders No. 16, Headquarters 55th Division, and Annex 1,
Administrative Bulletin No. 6, 35th Division.
ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT.
8. The Chief Ordnance Officer, Second Army having advised
the Division Ordnance Officer that the 35th Division will be com-
pletely re-equipped at Le Mans with new personal mobile equipment,
Organization Commanders and Unit Supply Officers are directed to
take this fact into consideration when submitting requisitions
for Ordnance property. only such Ordnance equipment needed to make
up shortages and to replace absolutely unservicable articles
should be requisitioned.
