The following is published for the information and strict compliance of all concerned; "GENERAL HEADQUARTERS AMERICAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCES France, February 21, 1919 From: The Adjutant General, A.E.F. To: Commanding General, 35th Division, A.E.F. Subject: Training publications. 1. Some Organizations ordered back to the United States have forwarded to G-5 Library, these headquarters, a quantity of obsolete training publications, maps, and ther printed matter. It is de- sired that this procedure be discontinued, 2. All obsolete training publications, and other printed matter issued from G-5 Library will be destroyed or salvaged by Units before leaving France, 3. Standard training publications and those recently issued by G-5 Library will be disposed of upon demobilization, together with other records, under instructions from the War Department. 4. Every organization or detachment of the division that still has articles of Si ignal Corps equipment in its possession will turn in a complete alphábetical list of such property to the office of' the Signal Officer, 35th Division, Commeroy, on or before March 3, 1919. III. FLOOD OF THE MEUSE The flood of the Meuse which was announced this morning will reach greater heights than was reported. The crest of the flood should pass Neufchateau on the 26th of February during the evening; Vaucouleurs, on the 27th of February during the morning; Commercy, on the 28th of February during the morning; St. Mihiel, on the 28th of February during the evening; Verdun, lst of March during the evening; stenay, the 2nd of March during the evening. The high water mark will probably reach about 60 centimeters above the level of the dikes. The overflow will be general. IV, ENTERTAINMENT, Entertainment will be discontinued on the night of March 4th. Allshow units will be returned on the 5th and will disband and turn in their property to the Division Entertainment Officer, This should include musical instruments, costumes, etc., secured from the Y.M.C.A. and in addition any scenery or costúmes privately secured can be turned in These will be given to the Second Army for dis- tribution throughout the Army Area, (over)
