Headquarters 35th Division American Expelitionery Porces 15th March, 1919 G-1 Memorandun 1049. RECORDS SERVICE No. 23 1. (a) Only one pair of shoes per man will be takon from this area. All roquisitions will be made looking to this end. (b) In case there are at present more than one pair per man on hand the oxcess will not be turned in until the orders to nove to port of embarkationare received. (c) Shoe requisitions Should state sizes and lasts and carry a list of substitute sizes attached, No oxchanges can be made. (d) Shoes may be repaired at the A.F.C. shoe shops, IF MANS, poirs OF shoes to be securely tied together and tagged with name of men and organization. 2. Pursuant to Wor Department oders, new clothing will not be issuod to troops roturning to United States, All clothing will be 01 the laundried and repoired type. 3, All salvage material will bo sent to the S clvage Depot at I MANS. 4. Bed. sacks are now on hand at the Quartormaster for issue. 5. It is reported that conl was left in this crea by the 27th Division. Supply Officers will notify the Division Quartermaster if none is required. Grates can be furnished for ranges. 6. All articles required excopt rations and fuel, even dubbin will be requisitioned for as the Division Quartermaster will carry no stock whatever, all Et 7. All requisitions will be submitted in duplicate, 8; All baggage officers will subnit to the Division Baggage Officer, Coptain Paul F. Brooksher, the number of baggage lists, Form No. 111 and number of tags necessary for baggage, The tags are OI two types; one indicating that the baggage is to be placed in the stateroon, the other in the Hold.
