Affidavit of John W. Hinde

Hinde, on his oath, deposes and says he has been a resident of Independence, Missouri, for sixty years; that he knows that Harmony Street referred to in Book X at page, 430, office of Recorder of Peeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Independence, is the extension of what is now known as Noland Street; and that Harrisonville Road is what is now known as Main Street, Independence, Missouri. Affiant further states that he was well acquainted with John C. Wallace, deceased, and that he knows said John C. Wallace never married. He also states he was well acquainted with Jessamine Wallace, one of the grantees in deed recorded in Book 256, at page 332, office of Recorder of Deeds dor Jackson County, at Independence, Missouri, and knows that Jessie Walla ce and Jessamine Wallace are one and the same person. He also knows that C. H. Wallace, grantee in deed recorded in Book 334 at page 530, office of Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, at Independence, Missouri, is one and the same person as Charles H. Wallace, grantor in deed recorded in Book 364, at page 310, office of recorder of deeds for Jackson County, at Independence, Missouri. Affiant further states that Floyd Latimer, former husband of Lucy Collins Latimer, is now deceased.
