The Chief of Transportation,
Army Service Forces.
1. Miss Katherine B. Fite, Office of U. S. Chief of Counsel, is hereby
authorized and invited to proceed by air, on or about 13 July 1945, from
Washington, D. C., to London, England, thence under Class I air priority to
France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, U.S.S.Re, Luxembourg
and Italy, and to such other places within the European and Mediterranean
Theaters as may be necessary for the accomplishment of her mission, on tem
porary duty for a period of approximately six (6) months, and upon completion
of this temporary duty to return to Washington, D. C, APP-1-365189-WDP--JTUL.
2. The immunizations prescribed by current War Department instructions
which have not been completed prior to departure from the continental United
States will be completed upon arrival in theater.
3. a. Baggage to accompany the individual by air will be marked with
the ovmer's full name, will be limited to one hundred sixty-five (165) pounds,
and will accompany the individual to the port of aerial embarkation. Baggage
will not be marked so as to disclose the overseas destination.
b. Authority is given to ship personal baggage not exceeding one
hundred ten (110) pounds through the New York Port of Embarication, marked
with the full name and addressed as follows:
