Thanks a lot for your note of the ninth about
our purported California cousin. He, of
course, would look a lot better if he had a
shave.
I appreciated the editorial from the Examiner.
Like all the rest of the smart people in the
country it has taken the Examiner some time
to find out they had a President from the home
town but I should worry about that.
I also appreciated the enclosed letter from
Fanny Finch which I am returning for your
file. I notice you think she is a Republican.
