THE PRESIDENT
Brought up discussion of wild cat strike in New York which is tying
up the loading and unloading of ships in the port of New York. Suggested
drastic step of making New York a military area with Army - Navy & Air Force
taking over.
MCGRATH
Suggests trying a board to investigate and report back to the
President on Monday.
LOVETT
All direct military supplies are being moved in New York today.
Indirect supplies are not moving.
RENTZEL
The strikers are now threatening to tie up entire east coast.
TOBIN
Thinks it advisable to follow idea of McGrath, and if this does
not work then move in with step suggested by President.
