Those present were as follows: Mr. William J. Guste, President, National Public Housing Conference, prominent New Orleans attorney and present counsel for New Orleans Housing Authority. Mr. Harry Bates, Chairman, Housing Committee of the American Federation of Labor Honorable Woodall Rogers, Mayor of Dallas Mr. D. F. Braner, representing the Illinois Association of Housing officials Mr. George Hamilton, Atlanta, Ga.; Treasurer of the State of Gebrgia and Chairman of the State Housing Commission Dr. Fred Reizet of Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America Mr. Robert Nathan, representing American Veterans Committee (The National Public Housing Conference is a meeting of the group of citizens who during the war carried on the housing job throughout the Nation and are now attending a meeting in Washington to discuss peacetime housing. They believe the Wagner-Ellender-Taft General Housing Bill is essential and wish to discuss what may be done by the Administration to help push this measure through. -- The appointment was arranged through Mr. Richmond Keech) 11.30 am Honorable Wilson Wyatt (Honorable Richmond Keech) (Mr. Keech thought the President should see Mr. Wyatt.) 11.45 am (Mr. William Hillman) (Mr. Jose Flores, Collier Correspondent on Guam) (Mr. Hillman brought Mr. Flores through the East Entrance.
