My dear Mr. Clancy:
I have been ill for about a week and so I find myself barely able to
meet my deadline, which is tomorrow at four P. M., with a column on the Twenty-
Second Amendment, a copy of which I enclose. I wonder if you will be good
enough
to read this copy and let me know if eny of my facts are wrong. It is, of course,
obvious that I am indulging in E bit of enti-Twenty-Second Amendment propaganda,
but it seems to me to be a proper slant to take.
If necessary, you can call me at my office, reverse charges, or send
me a telegram.
Sincerely yours,
Harold L. Ickes
