MR. CONNELLY:
Mr. Hopkins called again
this morning re his request for
an appointment with the President
for the Committee for Peace and
Justice in the Holy Land. As a
group of representatives from the
Foreign Missions Conference (he
says that the Conference represents
80% of the Protestants in the U.S. )
has joined with the Committee for
Peace and Justice, Mr. Hopkins feels
that the President may now wish to
see them. (Me 5967)
