Dear Sir:
We are sending you herewith reprint of an
important article in the Weekly Magazine Section
of the September 22, 1945 issue of The Christian
Science Monitor, entitled "Mistaken Claims for
H
Socialized Medicine" by A. M. Simons.
x
Mr. Simons is well known as a writer and
investigator and at one time was editor of the
International Socialist Review. In his article
he points out in clear, concise terms the falla-
cies of certain claims that are made for sickness
insurance.
Since compulsory health insurance is a
subject which is receiving wide attention, we
thought you might be interested in reading what
Mr. Simons has to present on the basis of actual
experience under socialized medicine as compared
with theories and promised benefits.
S.
TRUMAD
Sincerely yours,
RETIONAL JOHN
