Dear Congressman Magee:
I have received your letter
of March 7th and am awfully sorry I
cannot arrange an appointment with the
President for you and a group of boys
who will be ih Washington from March
24th to 26th.
As you probably know, the
President will return from Key West on
March 19th and his calendar for the
following week is already completely
filled. Much as we would like to, it
is simply impossible for us to make any
additions. I know you will understand
the situation.
With best wishes.
Sincerely yours,
MATTHEW J. CONNELLY
Secretary to the President
