Dear Jim:
I understand the situations referred
to in your letter of January twelfth regarding
Census positions in the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 12th
Congressional Districts have been worked out.
As to the 13th and 14th Districts, I understand
that the organization originally recomnended
Mr. Grieco for appointment as supervisor and the
appointment was made. It now seems that they
prefer to have Mr. Ejillo as supervisor. If
these facts are correct, then it is a problem
which was not caused by the Bureau of the Census.
I believe the only sensible way to work this out
would be to have the organization prevail upon
Mr. Grieco to step down and let the other man
be appointed.
With best wishes,
Very sincerely yours,
RECORDA
