Hon. Matthew J. Connelly,
The White House,
Washington, D. C.
Honorable and dear friend Connel]y:
I am truly grateful and 6incerely Thank you/for
Jack
your kind favor regarding Miss Frick and apólogize most
abjectly for having taken this matter up with you. One
of her close relatives and a dear friend of Mrs. Colliflower
importuned me to intercede for her and, upon receiving your
letter, I realized I had been imposed upon.
I have talked with this friend of Mrs. Colliflower
and she is distressed and states she gave me nothing but
the information she gave and felt that Miss Frick had truly
been aggrieved. I sincerely regret having bothered you and
hope you will understand. I also sincerely thank you for
having gone to such extremes in this case and I hope you
will never be troubled by anyone in this wise in the future.
With sincerest thanks, kindest regards and best wishes
to you and all your dear ones, I am
Sincerely and gratefully,
