My dear Mr. Secretary:
I am enclosing herewith my
letter of transmission to the President
and the final galley proof of the Report
on German Agriculture and Food Require-
ments. I, of course, hope the President
may have time to read it.
This is the only copy loose.
It will be mailed to the press on Wednes-
day. I am in hopes no word of its
contents gets out until its release.
