Subject: Salary Rates for United States Representatives

in United Nations Organs
#
At the time of the original appointments of Representa-
tives in certain organs of the United Nations, including the
Economic and Social Council and the Commissions of the Council,
the Trusteeship Council, and the Commission of Investigation
established by the Security Council of the United Nations on
December 19, 1946, no provision was made for specifying the
salary as required under the provisions of Section 2 (d) of
Public Law 264.
The attached memoranda have been prepared for your
signature, if you approve, authorizing payment of salary
at the rates specified.
