MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT
#
The Executive Order establishing the President's
Committee on Equality of Treatment and Opportunity in the
Armed Services provides for the appointment of an Advisory
Committee in the National Military Establishment, composed
of seven members to be designated by the President.
The following have been considered with Secretary
Forrestal and the Democratic National Committee and are
recommended:
