Mr. Hassett, who is in the hospital,
desires to acknowledge receipt of your telegram
addressed to the President, calling attention
to THE WASHINGTON POST editorial, Mednesday,

July twenty-third, entitled "Exodus 1947". Mr.
Hassett looked up the editorial and attached
it to your message and will bring both to the
attention of the President upon his return
from Missouri.
