My dear Hildegard:
Thank you, on behalf of the President,
for your letter of September fifteenth. Because
of the extremely heavy pressure upon the Presi-
dent's time, it is impossible for him to respond
personally to the many messages and letters being
received. However, you may be sure that your
friendly thought in writing is appreciated.
