My dear Mr. Frierson:
I have for acknowledgment your letter
of October fourteenth and sincerely wish it were
possible to comply with your request for the
President's autograph. However, at the present
time, his every moment is completely taken up
with urgent official duties and he has been
forced to ask to be excused from all autographing.
I know that you will understand.
