Mr. dear Mrs. Palmer:
I appreciated very much your letter of the
seventeenth of March and I am looking forward
to receiving the "Clasped Hands" which Dr.
Armstrong sent to you for me.
I regretted very much my inability to get to the
Browning Room but as the situation developed,
if we had not left there when we did, we would
not have been able to get off the ground, and it
was necessary for me to be in Washington that
evening.
I enjoyed very much the visit with you and with
your granddaughter.
Sincerely yours,
/s/ HARRY
