Dear President Edel:
I appreciated meet highly your letter of the
nineteenth, inviting me to be present when the
Secretary of the Treasury will be Commencerent
Orator at Dickinson College on Commencement
Day, June fifth. I sincerely wish I could come
but I have found it necessary to cancel several
engagements during that weak in June, which I
had wanted to keep. I must stay on the job as
long as the Congress is in session.
I know you will hear a wonderful address from
the Secretary of the Treasury. He is one of
