Dear mr. Truman:
I know you will not read this and
l don't expect you to, but in case you
do, l have a few things to say.
In 1948 I thought you were a pretty
great guy. l thought you were the best
man for the job and I would still
prefer you have to Tom Dewey, but my heavens,
supported you. When you took over
how you disappointed the people who

you seemed to be a very competent leader.
