In 1948 I thought you were a pretty great guy. l thought you were the best man for the job and I would still prefer you have to Tom Dewey, but my heavens, supported you. When you took over how you disappointed the people who the presidency after mr. Boosevelt died, you seemed to be a very competent leader. The people had faith in you or they, and their representatives, would as president of the Ll nited States. The not have restored you to your position people were not blind. they knew that a crisis was ahead and they chose the man of their choice to lead them through that crisis. They never dreamed that you were the kind of man who would hit out at a body of men who were
