It certainly is a plenaure and a privilage to be with the Young Democrata
hero in Boliver tonicht. I told my friends in Springfield today how very much
I appreciate being with you in this pert of the State. I en very Tond of
Lolivar and this ecemunity because I am a Beptist and you have the Soutbwest
Baptist College here. My mother, father, and all my grandperents were Septists.
I em also very fond of your able and distinguished Congreasman, the
Benorable Reuben T. Wood. He has been to consistent Administration supporter
and has very eapably represented the great Sixth Dietrict of Kissouri in the
Kouse of Regresentatives at Washington.
Tosorrow is the birthlay of that great exponent of demoersey and the
founder of the Demoeratic Party -- Thomes Jefferson.
