Mr. Joseph L. Tumas
Agsistant Manager
The Blackstone
Michigan Avenue at Balbo
Chicago 5, Illinois
My dear Mr. Tumas:
1 am expecting to be in Chicago on the
Seventeenth of March arriving about 8:30 a. m.
but I think the Editor of the Chicago Times has
arranged a breakfast for me somewhere--1 don't
know where. Then I em going to the Palmer House
to make a Saint Patrick's day speech, and after
that I don't know just that the general plans are.
I will try to drop by and see you some
time during the afternoon of the Seventeenth and
let you know what my plans are.
I certainly appreciate the courtesy of
General Lorenzen and hope I can make use of his
suite.
Sincerely yours,
Harry S. Truman
