Dear Mrs. Herman:
Before leaving Tiashington for a few days'
rest, Senator Truman asked me to thank you for your
letter of the Eighth. He greatly appreciated your
congratulations and good wishes.
At the present time, the Senator has no
Annapolis appointments at this isposal. However,
we are placing your son's name in our Annapolis file
and if it is possible to offer hin any encouragement
later on, we will gladly get in touch with you.
