Dear Mr. Jacobson:
In the absence of Senator Truman, I am
enclosing you a copy of a letter which has been
received from the State Department regarding the
immigration visa case of Mr. Leopold Frankel.
The letter is self-explanatory, and we
are sorry indeed that it is not possible to give
you a more favorable report. If there is any way
in which the Senator can assist you further in this
case, I am sure he will be only too glad to do so.
