The President has approved bills of the following numbers and titles:
June 29, 1945
H. R. 2416, An Act, auth rising the State of Alabama to lease or sell and convey
all or any part of the Salt Springs land granted to anid State by
the Act of March 2, 1819.
June 30, 1945
H.J.Res.184, Joint Resolution to continue the temporary increases in postal
rates on first-class matter, and for other purposes;
H. R. 378, An ACT authorising an appopristion to carry out the provisions of
the Act of May 3, 1928 (45 Stat. 484), and for other purposes;
H. R. 1044, An Act for the relief of Warlin-Reckwell Corporation with respect
to the jurisdiction of The Tax Court of the United States to re-
detormine its excessive profits for its fiscal year ending December
31, 1942, subject to renegotiation under the Renegotiation Act;
H. R. 2944,
An Act to continue in effect section 6 of the Act of July 2, 1940
(54 Stat. 714), as amended, relating to the exportation of certain
commodities;
H, R. 3059, An Act authorizing the Postmaster General to ontinue to use post-
office clerks and city letter carriers interchangesbly:
H. R. 3232, An Act to amend section 3 of the Act entitled "An Act to authorize
the President to requisition certain articles and materials for the
use of the United States, and for other purposes", approved October
10, 1940, as amended, for the purpose of continuing it in effect;
H. R. 3234, An Act to amend the Act entitled "An Act to authorise the President
of the United States to requisition property required for the
defense of the United States", approved October 16, 1941, as anended,
for the purpose of continuing it in effect;
H. R. 3306, An Act making appropriations for the government of the District of
Columbia and other activities chargeable in whole or in part against
the revenues of such District for the fiscal year ending June 30,
1946, and for other purposes;

under the Renegotiation Act; and
