Dear Mrs. Truman:
Enclosed you will find a copy of a press release
which explains the Christmas shopping campaign of
the Washington Committee for Consumer Protection.
Since you indicated your interest in our activities
by signing the pledge during the meat campaign, we
would like to present to you a button bearing the
slogan "DON'T BUY HIGH" which is being distributed
to our sponsoring organizations.
We shall be glad to call on you at any time that is
convenient and will await word from Mrs. Helm as to
your wishes.
