URB TOUNAN NATIONALD SERVICE THE
U.S.
My dear Mrs. Pace:
Mrs. Truman is sorry that
she can not go to the Democratic
Club for lunch on Monday, February
twelfth, as she has an engagement
to be at the Lincoln Memorial at
twelve-thirty that day for the cere-
monies there for Lincoln's birth-
day.
I tried to reach you on
the telephone but the line was
busy, so I am sending this note
in addition to the message I left
with four maid.
Very sincerely yours,
Mrs. J. M. Helm
