THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON May 9, allight MEMORANDUM FOR MISS ODUM: Miss Rudellat, of the State Department, and also accredited to the White House from the State Department, asks the followig: Would Margaret be willing to comment on the gifts given to her by the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Begum Liaquat Ali Khan? I imagine that all she wants is some comment on their beauty, the fabric, etc. These are to be sent out by the Voice of America of the State Department to Pakistan. Edith Helm This same question has been asked of Mrs. Truman and a memorandum sent to her.
