Dear Mrs. Palmer:
The message which you and
Mrs. Craig and Mrs. Finley have con-
veyed to me from the Women's Jackson
Democratic Club of Independence has
touched me deeply. It has always
been my pride that I belong to this
organization and though I will not
be in Independence as often as in
the past, my interest and affection
for the people of my home and my
fellow club members will always con-
tinue.
U.S. ARCHIVES AND
Will you be so kind as to
thank all the members of the club
for this expression of their interest
and good will?
Sincerely yours,
BESS W. TRUMAN
