Dear mr. Martin :
If you recall, in my letter dated July 13, t asked that you send the
correspondence relating to Senators Bussell and Kennedy to my sister . She
received all but the original of Senetor Russell's letter to me, dated January 20,
and I note by the applicable enclosure to your letter of July 25 that it was not
included in the list of documents mailed to her.
Hence, I would again request that you send this particular item to her,
at your earliest convenince. Thank you.
In answer to your letter, aforementioned, which & feel warrants a clear
reply, first, let me my that if you had informed me that security consilirations
were partially separating responsible for the delay in mailing the carbon copies
of the drafts of my potition and supporting memoranture, instead of the reasons your
did cite, such explanation would have been quite acceptable to me.
as for the communical tion sent your associate (?), which was forwarded
through privileged channels (ostensity, at least), it is of some concern to me
that you were not apprised in any manner, of this t did not intend for
it to he ************* nor do & think it should have been - kept from your cognigence
It is of greater concern, however, that you are unaware of to whom
t referred. the only cryptic part of my entire reference was the word
'company", and L used the term as instructed with the assurance given
