BROSHEARS stated that FERRIE had\ndiscussed with him the following names in relation to the\nassassination of President Kennedy, and a conspiracy in which\nFERRIE admitted his own involvement. The names were:\nHALE BOGGS, Representative to Congress from the\nState of Louisiana;\npors not check\nKENT COURTNEY, financier in New Orleans;\nas being\nin any\nWell known Minute Man\nIr\nRICHARD C. LAUCHLI, of Collingsville, Ill. ;\nwas annoted with\nanti-Castro francis\ndamp month of\nCLAY SHAW, who Ferrie said had been Director\nLahe main\nof the International Trade Mart in New Orleans\nlate Summary of '63.\nand was now financially responsible for HALE\nBOGGS remaining in Congress.\nAt that time BROSHEARS said, \"I didn't know these people, or\nwhat the Trade Mart was.\nBROSHEARS said that FERRIE stayed over night with him\nat his hotel room on several occasions. During one of those\noccasions two men came to their door and forced their entrance\nto the room. They questioned FERRIE, threatened FERRIE, and,\naccording to BROSHEARS, left abruptly. After these two men\nleft, BROSHEARS asked FERRIE who they were. FERRIE said, \"They\nare just men who I am afraid of.\" BROSHEARS said that these\nmen had hurriedly identified themselves and he could not see\nFERRIE:\nfrom their identification who they were. BROSHEARS stated that\nFERRIE later told him that they said they were from the District\nAttorney's Office (NOTE: This was in 1965.) BROSHEARS said\nthat FERRIE was fantastically nervous, and was given to deep\nperiods of depression. He said that it was only when FERRIE\ndrank to excess, or had taken pills that FERRIE would confide\ncasually with BROSHEARS in some of the involvement that he had\nhad with the assassination. BROSHEARS said that he did not tell\nhim immediately that he was involved with Civil Rights work, but\nlater discussed his background.\nit\nFERRIE told BROSHEARS of \"the mess he was in\". FERRIE\nsaid he was a pilot. He showed Eastern Airlines Wings with his\nname engraved on the back to BROSHEARS, and said that he had\nbeen fired from that organization for charges of homosexuality.\nFERRIE stated to BROSHEARS that he had been flying private\nplanes to Guatemala, Costa Rica and British Honduras. BROSHEARS\nsaid that, \"If this was a way to make money, DAVID didn't have\nany. \" BROSHEARS stated that he felt that FERRIE had been forced\nto work for this organization, and had been \"hooked into it\".\nHe said that FERRIE never liked the work he was doing, but that\nFERRIE had confided in him that he was working for a group of\npeople who wanted to take over the United States\"\nSince BROSHEARS felt that the homosexual underground\nin which he and FERRIE were involved was \"an hysterical scene\",\nhe said that he did not take FERRIE seriously. FERRIE said\nthat he was flying guns and ammunition. FERRIE told BROSHEARS\n-2-"
