The February 2nd letter from
Albert Schweitzer is a thank you for the
President's tribute on Schweitzer's 90th
birthday, so it does not require a reply.
The general philosophizing which
Schweitzer does would require the President
to reply in the same vein so unless LBJ
wants to be pushed into a steady exchange
on philosophical matters, I think it would
be safe to let the matter drop at this point.
