About the Jordan plan?
S: Yes, the Secretary made 2 or 3 tiny changes at my suggestion.
They tighten it up. They pertain to conditionality. They will make it
more favorable to the Israelis. It takes into account some of the comments
from Eban. Charlie would like to put it down before the summit. What more
would you like from me; what more can I do? Tell Charlie he is authorized
to go ahead?
K: Because the P is going to take the heat, and I think he is
S: Oh yes
K: I want to give him a chance to say no. I am in favor and I think
he will go along. But I want to make sure. What are the three changes;
anything I should know about?
S: Let me call them to Hal. He will put them in front of you.
He'll have them to you in half an hour.
