THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON REPUBLICAN FUND-RAISING DINNER Wednesday, March 24, 1971 9:50 P.M. Washington Hilton Hotel HAS SEEN THE PRESIDENT: BACKGROUND The annual Republican Fund-Raising Dinner will be held in the Inter - national Ballroom at the Washington Hilton Hotel. This is the same location, and the dinner will follow the same format, as the last two years. Approximately 2,000 people are expected to attend, and the program will include remarks by Congressman Ford, Senator Scott, the Vice President and the President. However, you and Mrs. Nixon will not be sitting through the entire program; you will drop by near the conclusion of the dinner, hear the Vice President's remarks, deliver your remarks, and then depart. SEQUENCE OF EVENTS 9:50 p.m. You and Mrs. Nixon depart the White House via motorcade en route the Washington Hilton Hotel. 9:55 p.m. Arrive Washington Hilton Hotel. Proceed to holding room. At the time of your arrival, Senator Scott will be concluding his remarks. 10:00 .m. You and Mrs. Nixon proceed to the entrance to the International Ballroom. You pause at entrance for Ruffles & Flourishes and announcement. You and Mrs. Nixon enter to "Hail to the Chief" and proceed to your seats at the head table (head table list attached). Senator Dominick will introduce the Vice President.
