THE PRESIDENT:
BACKGROUND
Ten of the 12 Cabinet members will host white tie dinners around
the city for groups of people considered to be supporters and friends
of the President. There will be approximately 25 people at each dinner.
Secretaries Rogers and Laird are the two Cabinet members who are
not hosting dinners. At the conclusion of the individual dinners, at
approximately 9:30 p.m., the guests will be transported to Anderson
House, 2118 Massachusetts Avenue, N. W., in limousines for the
Ball and midnight supper.
SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
9:35 p.m.
You and Mrs. Nixon depart the south grounds
via automobile en route Anderson House.
9:45 p.m.
You and Mrs. Nixon arrive Anderson House and
proceed to the parlor which is immediately adjacent
to the main ballroom. Positioning yourselves just
outside the door to the ballroom, you will form a
reception line that will be configured as follows

The Vice President
Mrs. Agnew
Congressman and Mrs. R. C. Morton
Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Milbank
