East Room

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace will arrive and will be
escorted to the Yellow Oval Room where you and Mrs. Nixon
will join them
Entrance:

you and Mrs. Nixon and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace will
descend to the State Floor by elevator
-- Pause in the Grand Hall for Ruffles and Flourishes and announcement
(take receiving line positions: from left to right - President, Mr.
Wallace, Mrs. Nixon, Mrs. Wallace)
enter East Room as
"Hail to the Chief" is played
- - You and Mrs. Nixon and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace receive your guests
from a position just inside the entrance to the East Room
NOTE: Colors will be pre-positioned in the East Room.
Dinner:

At conclusion of receiving line, follow your guests into the State
Dining Room
