CBS report continued w/a bearded RN youth, a mustachioed one
and a conventional (?) if there is one) youth exorting young RN
collegians in Calif. to reduce peer group pressures, avoid confrontation
and make clear it's ok for collegians to back RN. But, said reporter,
there is verbal conflict when YVP set up -- 1st clip of black girl failing
to see why she should back RN when McG is for the poor and then a
shouting match between YVP and McGovernites on the war -- wherever
YVP go, said reporter, there is much arguing on the war. A standoff.
Reporter concluded that past low turnout of under-30 is expected to be
reversed this year.
