Pierpoint said Meany had thus "quickly disputed" this the Dunlop contention Nets variously noted: 1) Prime rate up to 6 1/4 at major banks, some of which Admin. caused to back down recently and 2) Dow-Jones down another 6 to 953 down 98 since Jan 11, said CBS; 3) VW prices up 7.2%; 4) Gold dropped as dollar stabilized and 5) NBC noted Flanigan said increased exports is best answer to payments problem. ABC/CBS film of anti-NVN demonstration at Hue's JMC compound which is felt to be reason for delay for handing over of list of men to be returned. NBC lead and ABC/CBS film from Paris where Cronkite said 1st session couldn't be called a success. Focus by all nets on US eagerness to get other partie involved in peace-keeping responsibility and on Canada's threat to leave whole ICCS operation in 60 days unless some body is set up to whom it (ICCS) can report.
