THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON March 10, 1972 MEMORANDUM FOR: RAYMOND PRICE FROM: DAVID C. HOOPES A SUBJECT: Overdue Memoranda for the President's File According to our records, you have not yet turned into this office Memorandum for the President's File on the event(s) listed below. In that the President has asked specifically that this important personal file be complete at all times, to within 2-3 days of the current date, I would like to ask you to take a few minutes today -- while your memory of the facts is still fresh -- to prepare a summary of what transpired, what commitments were made (if any) and what kind of mood or atmosphere prevailed. As you are probably aware, these papers need not be lengthy. Write as much or as little as you think appropriate keeping in mind the historical significance of the total file, and the fact that it will increase greatly with time. Thank you.
