COPY March 26, 1958 Clark, D. F. Dear Mr. Clark: I don't imagine that your busy schedule during the recent snow storm allowed you to notice such things as your ears burning. However, I am sure that they were, because some very complimentary comments were made about you when I called from Chicago last Thursday to check on my family. Our oldest daughter, Tricia, was ill at the time, and for that reason the courteous and expeditious manner in which you took care of getting a workman to put our furnace on manual operation until the electrical service was restored was particularly appreciated. All the Nixons join in expressing appreciation and extending our best wishes to you and your men, Sincerely, Richard Nixon Mr. D. F.
