Experiment 4. 4 days after the injection one pig was killed
and incinerated, weight of ash, 16.80 grams.
Radium found 168 and 1.82, average 1.75 micrograms.
Experiment 5. 7 days after the injection one pig was killed
and incinerated, weight of ash, 17.16 grams.

Injected I travenously into Guinea Pigs.

Experimante6. 14 days after the injection one pig was killed
and inciler ted, eight of nah, 17.52 grame.
Radium found 1.31 and 1.27, average 1.29 mierograms.
Experiment 7. Two of the pigs died three weeks after the in-
jection was made Both were incinerated and sent to the lab-
cratory for analysis.
Pig a. Weight of nuh, 14.04 grans. Radium found, 1.63, 1.56,
Pis b. Weight of ush, 17.50 grand. Radiium found, 0.82, 0.89,
1.57, 1.58, average 1.50 uicrograss.
0.86, 0.01 average 0.87 nicrograms.
I 10 unable to account for the variation in the juantitjes of
radium found in the two pigs of Experiment 7. It vould seem
that they should show better agreement than they 10, also,
the quantities found are not in line with about 10 would expect
from the previous vigs analyzed. The results to reported represent
duplicate determinations by two lifferent methods unds at
different times, consequently they annot be far wrong.
