To amend the Public Health Service Act and the Food, Drug and Cosmetic
Act to provide for reductions in youth smoking, for advancements in
tobacco-related research, and the development of safer tobacco products,
and for other purposes.

lowing bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Labor
and Human Resources
A BILL
To amend the Public Health Service Act and the Food,
Drug and Cosmetic Act to provide for reductions in
youth smoking, for advancements in tobacco-related re-
search, and the development of safer tobacco products,
and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.

(a) SHORT TITLE.-This Act may be cited as the
5 "Preventing Addiction to Smoking among Teens Act" or
6 the "PAST Act".
